1. Xbox live – What I considered one of the beginning places of online gaming discourse communities. Also Helped with circulation of game material online through your online friends telling you websites you should visit.
2. Game Creation – Show tools available to game development past and present. The tools I mentions for game creation fit perfectly as an example with McLuhans tetrad and public pedagogy with all the forums to help beginners start creating games.
3. Modding Community – Showed modding tools and where to find mods built by the community participation. Helped show remixing within the gaming discourse.
4. The Fallout Hoax -Showed a website built by fans of the series that hinted at the new game, but it was a hoax. Showed examples of rhetorical velocity and spreadability.
5. Arrow to the Knee and Praise the sun – 2 very different gaming memes that have been digested by the community differently. Showing spreadabilty, virility, and stickyness by analysing how each meme moved and circulated through the gaming communities.
6. Avatars – Online gaming starts to give your self a visual representation and shows remixing of the mii’s into copy righted characters from other franchise’s. Dealing with remixing/recomposition as related to the Mii’s.
